Thinking of You

When the nights are long and cold
And the days are lonesome and blue
And the tears begin to get old
My thoughts always drift to you

When my heart is quickly breaking
And I'm forced to search my mind
For something to stop the aching
You are the one I find

When I'm feeling helpless and weak
You give me the strength to move on
When I am broken and cannot speak
You give me the words through song

The happiness I know with you
Is like nothing I have ever felt before
When once all was closed from view
Now you have opened the door

And released my hidden emotions
Released my heart and soul
My deepest love and emotion
Finally making me whole

And if we are forced to be apart Throughout everything you do
Please know that your in my heart
And that I'm always thinking of you.

You're Not Here With Me

I was on the Internet one night.
And came across someone so nice.
We introduced ourselves and talked about certain things.
But never did I know that this could be.

How could it be that you're so far but yet near.
When constantly, I'm wishing you were here.
Why is it that the treasures you long for most,
Are always so far, but never too close?

I thank God for sending you my way.
And to see you soon is what I pray.
Everthing I do, I can't do without thinking of you.
All I can do is hope my wish come true.

I can't figure out what to do.
All I seem to think about is you.
Before I go to bed and when I wake up too.
That's how I know these feelings are true.

Sometimes I'm scared to open up to you.
Wondering if this is really true.
It's funny how one night we're online.
Then the next, you whisper in my ear
"Goodnight".

Will You Marry Me?

When darkness and shadows fill the night
I want you there to hold me tight,
To keep me safe from any harm,
I feel secure wrapped in your arms.
The warmth and softness of your skin,
It deepens the love I have within.
I dread each moment we're apart,
I count the minutes from the start.
So stay with me forever, dear,
I want you and I need you here.
The future holds a love-filled life,
With you as my husband and I, your wife!
