Cats And Dogs Can Get Along
In Memory Of
Jester Tigre'
Rafferty Weasel Selina
When I moved to San Antonio the first thing I learned was how much of a animal lover Michela really was. We have five cats, four dogs, a ferret, and a parakeet. When you open the back door the first animal there is Tigre'. Raff would be, but he is getting a litle slow and losing his hearing. But he will be there as soon as he can get there. Selina never knows you are there unless she smells you. We believe she is stone deaf and she can not see very well. Sionned is getting a little deaf and has arthritis in her hips but she gets around pretty good. Both dogs know sign language. Then there is Bungee. She is almost a wild cat that loves to travel in the drainage systems around the house. No one can get close to her except me and Michela, and then if she is outside the back yard she will not come to us. On the inside of the house we will start with Fuzz. Michela raised her from a kitten. Our guest never knows we have her because when the door bell rings, off to the bedroom and under the bed she goes. Then there is Spike. Me and Michela got him somewhere around the last of May in 1998. He is a big cat that loves to beat up on Fuzz but is pretty scared himself. Then there is Princess. She is a Lhasa-Poo. People call her a lap dog. When you set on the couch, no matter who you are, she is going to be in your lap. Then there's Jester, our Parakeet. We just call her stupid bird. Michela found out she was female after she started laying eggs. Her cage stays open all the time. When she gets bored she will fly around the living room and pester Fuzz and Spike. Just high enough where they can't reach her. The latest addition to the family is Max. Michela has a home office. One day she was doing her thing in the office where she her this awful sound. She came running out of the office because she thought it was one of our cat being hurt. When she reached the living room she figured out that the sound was come from outside. She opens the front door, and there is this dog at our front door just a-howling. Michela open the door, the dog comes in, checks out all the rooms in the house, and comes back with a tennis ball in his mouth ready to play ball. He has been here ever since. Now days Michela's new thing is Ferretts. We own two. We got our first one at a garage sale. After getting her we decided we had to get her a playmate so we bought us antother one. There names are Weasle and Puck. They have a personality like no other animal.
