What Can We Do?

Below is a telephone number. . . . It is my telephone number. If you have hurt a child or fear that you may hurt a child, please call me. Let's talk about it. NOTE: I am NOT a mandated reporter, and under no circumstances will I make any reports to law enforcement or child protective services. I only ask that, if you call, you are sincere about wanting to help yourself to become that person who would not and will not hurt a child.

Otherwise, I'd like to hear from community members interested in developing a C.A.R.E. (Child Abuse Resistance Encounter) group in the Pickerington/Canal Winchester communities. What is a C.A.R.E. group? It is an organized group of committed community citizens dedicated to creating and preserving a wholesome and nurturing environment for all children. C.A.R.E. groups make a difference in a community through survivor peer support groups, abuser/offender peer support groups, parenting peer support groups, parenting crisis hotlines, referral services, education disseminations (workshops, seminars, public speaking, etc.), networking, community activism, and other special projects. C.A.R.E. groups make a community stronger and a better place for children to be.

Please feel free to call me with your ideas and input. The caring starts NOW!
