Since Malaysia is a multi-racial country and since Sarawak have
the most number of different races in Malaysia, lots of different lanuages
are spoken here. There are 32 different races in Sarawak alone. Makes it
difficult to communicate around here. For example, if someone phones and
you said hello... you then wonder what language to use because you don't
know what language the other person speaks. Could be funny sometimes, though...
Iban - Iban language here is different from Iban language at other parts of Sarawak.
Bahasa kampung - The dialect Sarawak Malays speak.
Chinese - Hakka, Teochew, Hokkien, Hainan, Foochow...
Others - Our national language-Bahasa Malaysia, English,
& maybe other local dialects.
