Welcome to our web site and thank you for visiting us. The Hendersonville Fire Department is a growing department in a diverse profession. I am extremely proud of our 62 personnel and the opportunity to serve as Fire Chief for the City of Hendersonville. Our department consistently strives to provide excellent service and protection to our citizens and our employees pride themselves on their ability to do a professional job.

We have seen a great amount of growth in both our department and city within the last several years and we anticipate this growth to continue. Without a doubt, our department's greatest asset is our citizens who continually show support for our efforts. Our future plans include the construction of two new fire stations along with additional equipment and personnel. As a result of annexation, we may possibly be expanding our response territory.

The quality of life here in Hendersonville is one of the best in the state. Our economy is strong, our schools are excellent and our commuity offers numerous recreational activities. This combined with our proximity to Old Hickory Lake makes Hendersonville a great place to live and work.
