VBS: TRUTH TRACKERS
This year in VBS, vacation bible school, we had tons of fun. The lessons were great, the music was awesome, and the crafts were exciting. All the teachers and helpers this year tried their hardest to make this year's vbs the best, and I would have to say they achieved their goal. Full enrollment was 85, the average attendance was 65, and the highest attendance night was Wednesday with 70! The Sunday after vbs was "Children's Day" and the Sunday School attendance was 83! That's pretty high for lately. So, I think everyone agrees that this year's vbs was a great success!

CAPTURED HEART: BENEFIT CONCERT FOR NELITA MCDOWELL
On July 28th, "Captured Heart" came to Calvary to perform for an audience at Calvary. Several were in attendance as "Captured Heart" sang many familiar songs, such as "My Redeemer Lives". The audience raised an amazing $475.00 to give to Nelita. Everyone is glad to hear that "Captured Heart" is going to be singing at the block party on September 15, 2001.
