Am looking for ancestors and siblings of John Langley b. 1771-1780, SC? John was in Shelby Co., AL in 1820-1830 census. He purchased land in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa, AL in the late 1830's have not other information, He had 8 sons and 1 dau. a few of his
sons were John Langley b. 1805 GA md. Nancy Greenwood b. 1806 TN; Alex Langley b. 1801-1810; William T. Langley b. 1802 GA md Luisa ?; Hampton Langley b. 1807 GA d. 1850 Shelby Co., AL md. Rebecca ?,. John Langley b. 1805 was in Mississippi in the 1840 an
1850 census. He left MS and went to Arkansas in 1854. William T. Langley was also in MS in 1840 and 1850. Rebecca, Hampton's widow was still in Shelby Co., AL.

From ala, ingram, lee, searcy and corbitts etc
there are many others and some i have names only!
the biggest dead end i have is henry Tescott born SC came to TN married and Went to mine copper in AZ. where he died!

trying to locate information on Ernst Roemer, born
Yonkers, NY. January 1,1869-72. I need his birth
parants. He was adopted by Marvin Richardson Oakley who was born Verplank NY, 1839 and Marie E
Williams born 1840 Genece County, Ny. She and Marvin wher married April 18,1860 in Yonkers ,NY.
and changed Ernst name to Edward M Oakley, so who from the storys I have heard thru the family, he
was nt adopted as baby Also the story goes that his parents where in New Orlens foe a wedding
and there was a fire and they died in it.
I have tried getting his birth certificate from NY,all the have done is keep my momey,they never sent any informmation.
Ernst married Mary Burke,born Ireland in 1894 Yonkers,NY.They had five children, one of there children is my grandfather.
