On the following pages you will find census records contributed by many people for the states and counties where we have found the many varied spellings of our family name. Thanks to the efforts of Greg Curnutt and those working with him, we are attemptingto take different families and link them through the census years. The years prior to 1850 are indeed difficult to unravel at times with so many James, John, David and Rueben given names. If you are interested in what these assumptions where based on, feel free to ask.
