NEWSFLASH !!!! UPDATE !!!!! GOT MARRIED IN A CASTLE IN ST AUGUSTINE,FLA, TO CHARLES ON 8-8-08 !!!! WAS SO MAGICAL !!!!See Pictures below Updated 2/2/2008.Below this posting is how my life was..now I will add how it is now. So many things have happened to me since I became semi-retired.Wondering where I should start......Lets see..need to go back in time just a little bit...so here goes...In January of 2007 I recieved a notice from Classmates.com that someone had visited my site, so I went to check out who paid me a visit. I didn't know or recognize the name, so just figured it was someone, surfing around different schools, and never thought much more about it. Well in July I recieved another notice from classmates that someone had visited me again, so I went in to see who it was... It was the same person that had come in January, so I wrote "him" a note asking if we knew each other.He responded back with....."I don't think so,I went to school in Burlington Vermont and you went to school in New London, Conn. I was just looking for classmates of mine that might be going to our class reunion the end of this summer." I wrote him back and wish him well in finding his classmates and thought that was the end of it.....BUT NO.. I recieved another message from him and he said " I see you once lived in Niantic, Conn. I lived there in 1963, Perhaps we can email each other sometime." I responded to him and told him my brother was visiting from Kentucky and as soon as he was gone I would write him an email...After my brother left I did as promised and we started emailing back and forth, and then progressed to talking on the phone, which we did every night for at least 2 1/2 hours each night.To make a long story a little shorter, He came out here to Washington state Sept 25th and we hit it off to say the least.To make a long story even shorter........we are now presently engaged ( no date for the weddig yet ) and bought a house here in Washington together and he is here with me now. He still has a house in Hannibal,NY . He also has a 38ft RV there in Ny and we are going there the middle of March and then heading to Florida. OH...and did I mention.....I am FULLY retired now and loving it !!! Will add more to this later.......as we progress along.. in the meantime here is a picture of us.....Cleta, Chuck, and our little minature maltese "Chaz".



Updated 5/20/07 Maybe I should fill you in a little about myself..My name is Cleta and I am single and by trade was a Kitchen Designer, which was a very rewarding profession..Each new kitchen was like a fingerprint..no 2 were the same..I did that for 29 years..Now,,I am into Fashion Lighting..which is totally another whole world.As of 5/11/2007 I semi-retired and now only work 2 days a week and have off 5... I like that ratio much better LOL.. I have 2 grown sons..oldest is Scott 40..and is a Chef.. He moved out here in May 2004 and worked in Seattle the past 2 years. He loved the city..but quit his job there and went to Thailand Jan 2007 and absolutely loved it. He came back and got a Chef/Manager position at Jewell Gardens in Skagway Alaska for the seasonal period of May through September. He plans on going back to Thailand, when the season is over. He says it is truly beautiful in Alaska .. It is good to have my whole family out here now with me.

Youngest son,is Mathiew, 36...after getting out of the army,he started working in the construction field.He met his wife while stationed at Fort Lewis.Sadly to say they got a divorce in May 2006, but I still see my little ones every week.) He and his wife gave me my first little Grandbaby ~~ AMANDA CHRISTINE (CLICK FOR PICS) ON July 19,1997. SHE was my 1st GRAND BABY !!!....~~~OK..for those that have been here before you know my story of how I got to Washington State..For those just arriving here I will give you this quick scenario...1. Christmas time in Maine 97...looking at my Amanda's pictures feeling very lonesome...2. January 2nd,98...returned to work after the New Year Holiday..and quit my job. 3. Put my house on the market and packed it up ...4. Loaded a Ryder truck with all I could stuff into it...and towed my car behind. 5 Arrived in Washington State to my son Matt's March 15th. 6. Stayed there until my house in Maine sold...7.. Moved into my own place July 4th weekend...8. So that is it in a nutshell pretty much... . 9. # 2 GRANDBABY ~~ JESSICA TYLOR ~~ ARRIVED SAFE AND SOUND { a little early but in great shape } ON JUNE 6th,98- 5 lbs 7 0z- -18 inches long..lots of brown hair...She looks like her big sister { only 10 1/2 months between them } So now I am here and this is my new home and I will be able to see my beauties grow and experience them and all of thier cute little antics...OH THAT IS SO WONDERFUL..NOTHING LIKE IT IN THE WHOLE WORLD... Can you tell I am a proud Mama and Nana ? I also enjoy many sports,dancing,cards,the beach, and of course meeting NEW people on the NET..and I dabble a little in poetry...and have posted some of my work in here..so take a look...won't you? So this is it for now I am bouncing all over the net looking for more things to put in here...*LOL*
