Lady Claire's Craft Room

Welcome to The Craft Room

A showcase for Claire's Creations

Please feel free to browse at your leisure. If you see something that strikes your fancy, you can e-mail your request.

All of the items are handcrafted by me. I cut and sew each doll and outfit myself. Their faces are hand painted.

Please come back often, I will be adding more things all the time.

Grandma Edyth

Grandma Edyth Doll

Approximately 17" tall seated. Adapted from the pattern "Alice Springs" by Barbara Willis. Crafted as a gift for my sister who wanted a doll who looked like our mother who passed away in 1977 at the age of 50. I feel I captured the essence of our mother as she may have aged. My suspicions were confirmed, as my sister cried when she viewed the doll. This was my first foray into the world of designer dolls.

Santa

Santa Claus Doll

Adapted from the same pattern as used for the Grandmother doll above. His clothes are from Burgundy felt with imitation fleece trim. His boots and mittens are painted on and a pair of wire framed glasses completes the picture. He is a right jolly old elf.

Pin Dolls

Pin Dolls

These dolls were made for a doll club exchange and are approximately 5-1/2" tall. The pattern was designed for the Virtual Dollies by artist Arlene Cano for the club's exclusive use. We were allowed to make any changes to the pattern we wanted and just let our imaginations run wild. This was a fun project and I look forward to creating more of these miniature wearable dolls
