JESSE OLIVE SR. WAKE CO. NC. B-1762

Jesse Olive was born about 1762 in Wake Co. NC. and died April 14, 1829. He married Monicah Massey, daughter of Richard Massey Sr. Monicah was born in 1773 or 1764 neither date has been proved and she died in 1854. Jesse died in NC. But his wife and children and their spouses left NC. and came to Paris, Tn. to a place called the Hartsfield settlement, on the way there was an outbreak of Cholera so they camped at a log church near Columbia, Tn. which was later rebuilt by the slaves of the James Polk Plantation, several of them died there, we believe that James Olive, Jesse and Monicahs 5^th child, who was married to Sarah (Sally) Hartsfield died there also, but has not been proven yet. Their children in order of birth as follows;

4 Jesse Olive Jr. m. Betsey Barker

5 James Olive m. Sally Hartsfield

7 Gilley Olive m. John Hartsfield

8 Mary (Polley) Olive m. William Washington Lyon

9 Elizabeth Olive m. Hardy Crowder

Then we continued to spread out to Ms., Ark, Ok,Al, and soon after that all over the USA
