Those of you who know me and know me well know the importance of shells
to me. The most wonderrulf gift I ever received in my life was a shell~a
little gift from God.
Now, I have received another special gift from a special angel on earth.
The Gift
The ocean waves beat against my feet,
the sounds of the seagulls beckoned to me,
the sun glistened through the clear blue sky,
the clouds were dancing to catch my eye.
The tide rolled back and I could see
the gift God had given so gracefully.
Upon my feet he placed a shell
inside your image
he had traced for me.
(A note from Heart ~The inspiration
for "The Gift" came to me when this event actually transpired in
my life on the beach at Daytona Beach Shores,
just four months after the death of our son. I had
searched the beach all week for a "keepsake"
shell without any luck. This shell with this image
came to me in the morning on the day of
our departure.......it is a treasure!)
