This page is all about the Matchbox and Hot Wheels vehicles and props that I collect. I have been collecting since I was six months old (and yes I can actually remember sitting in a shopping cart and picking out some 10 cars to play with.) Over time the origial cars that I owned became damaged or lost so I have been slowly replacing them. My collection is by no means complete, and numbers excessively less than most "serious" collectors (over 400).

My collection though contains 99% older vehicles...mostly those made in England up through 1983 I think it was. The newer ones don't catch my fancy at all, so I have very few dated after 1988, unless you count my semis. As of late, these are the only new versions I will touch because I find them rather fascinating. I will post pictures as I get them of my very first car (of which I recently bought a replacement), and also a few of my favorites. My very first car, was numbered 51 and named "Midnight Magic." A silver on black space age type of car made in England in the 1970's. Chromed to a "T", this one has always been my favorite--although I don't really know why.

I have also collected Die-Cast metal cars of the 1:64 scale, but those consist mainly of my one true love--the 1963 Split Window Stingray Coupe--a car that I intend to own one day (in Daytona Blue of course). As a bonus, the artwork, done by Hugo Prado, is shown below. Click on the picture to view a much larger image. Enjoy!
