A. I have heard that someone (I don't remember who) did testing and said that they are the same pellets. I don't know. However, it seems commonly accepted for the PVC Princess to have a high value than the PE Princess. Anyone know the answers??

I've heard that due to the string on the bottom part of the face of the bears, that it can be pulled out , thus giving the bear and old face. It's possible that's what happened. Anyone know of other old face Valentinos??
Q:I recently went to a Beanie Babie Show where I bought a Valentino and Peace. Since then, I was informed that counterfeit Valentino and Peace Bears were sold. The way to tell if they are counterfeit is to check the tags...If the word "original" (on the hang tag) is misspelled as "origiinal" and/or the word "surface" (on either the hang tag or the tush tag) is misspelled as "suface". Could someone verify this please? I am hoping that it is an honest mistake by Ty Co. and that the bears are authentic. I will be highly disappointed (as will be my daughter for whom they were bought) if it turns out that we were dupped. Many thanks,
A. Hi Lillian, This is a common misconception. The word, "original" on the hang tag has been spotted as "origiinal". It's just a mistake by Ty, not a counterfeit.
Q:I have found in my daughters closet what seems to be an Old Face Teddythe brown bear. The Tush tag is dated 1993. The swing tag is gone, but the bear is in excellent condition.
