Long Hair Lovers
Hi.  I am an active home-schooled teen.  I will be 14 in April.  I am the oldest child in our little "army" and often baby-sit when Mom ecapes to the rest of civilization.  I have a little white fluff ball named Sally.  She is a cross between a Corgi and a White Akita.  I just recently got braces (oh, joy) and will be wearing them for two years (even more joy).  That means no gum, popcorn, or chewy/hard candy for two years. (AAAGGHHH!)  My weekly schedule is very full.  On Mondays, I have choir practice and Youth Group.  Tuesdays I have indoor soccer.  Thursdays I have choir practice, and on Fridays I have band.  I also volunteer my time during Lent when my church holds Friday Fish Fries.  Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays are my only days off, and even then I still have school and chores.  I have been home-schooled for three years now, and will be home-schooled during high school.  I don't know where I want to go to college, nor what I want to major in.  I like to take pictures, so I'd like to take a few photography courses in college.  I'd also like to take a few classes in beauty school because I like to style my sibs' and friends' hair.
I am a die-hard soccer maniac!  I play both indoor and outdoor soccer.  I also play volleyball and basketball.  I love to swim and rollerblade during the summer.  I teach myself piano and love to sing.  Another instrument I'd like to eventually take up is the flute.  I like to listen to "trendy" music, alternative rock, Christian rock, classical, and the occasional country song or two.  I like to read, and in my spare time, I write short stories and poem.  I love to perform on stage in the summer plays that the St. John Bosco Youth Group host.  I also design and make my own jewelry out of hemp, wire, and even those teeny-tiny seed beads.  I like to design my jeans, too.  And when my jeans get too small or holey, I save them and make cut-off shorts, purses, and back packs out of the good denim and pockets.  (I'm a very crafty person.)  Eventually, I'll add a link to this page where you can find instructions for all the above.
