To Commemorate Our 75th Year

Here they come in their VW's, Volvo's and motorcycles too!

In their new Toyota's of red and blue.

Where are they going, you might wonder.

To the M.W. Reunion as fast as thunder!

They come for food, prizes, fun and laughs!

But, it won't be funny when they run out of gas!

Even if it was gloomy and dark.

Back then the goal was tohickon Park.

But now we go to the facility of BCPA,

Which might not be as bright and gay!

Although, gas prices have sky rocketed this year,

those Michener's will be faithful and dear!

They sign up in a long line to record their presence;

at the 75th anniversary, which is of the essence.

And off they go to get something to drink,

provided at the stand which in this heat is an important link.

And we then have a prayer before lunch,

where the food is all piled in a bunch.

After the meal the kids go down and play,

while the adults have a meeting for the next part of the day!

When the kids come back up the meeting is adjourned,

and the key for the door prize is finally turned!

With children's numbers of 6, 20, 103,

"Oh where could my number be?"

Then the honored guest of the day,

come up with a couple of words to say;

like the most newly wed couples and oldest hitched,

oldest man and woman of the day,

and the youngest child in clothes bright and gay.

And then it's good-bye so let's all cheer,

Hope to see you the same time next year!
