ALASKA CRUISE

Here we are in Vancouver, getting ready to board the ship.

Ahh, here we are relaxing, getting a tan and watching Alaska go by.

Just a beautiful pic of where we were going. Sorry, can't remember exactly where we were.

Here we are headed for one of the glaciers.

The water was alittle rough one day. This is a pic of what was happening to the swimming pool as the water sloshed back and forth in it. This was the only day we could feel the movement of the ship, otherwise we didn't even know that we were on a ship.

We took a train ride up to the White Pass, unfortunatly most of the pics didn't come out very well because of the movement of the train. (or was it the movement of the photographer?)

The next few pictures are taken from the train we took from Seward to Anchorage. Oh, but first a pic of the train station in Seward.

When we were about 20 or so miles outside of Anchorage, looking right you saw this..

If you looked left this is what you saw. You can't see it very well but there is a full moon in about the center of the picture. Let me be a bit more exact..both pictures were taken from the same side of the train, not opposite sides. If you turned your head to the right you saw the sunset, if you looked left you saw the full moon.

I saw this hanging in a fur shop in Skagway. Don't look at the coat, look at the fur jock strap hanging next to it. Maybe a Christmas present idea???
