Enjoying A Stroh's, 1970-71

On this page I am going to talk a little about my immediate family, that I love so dearly. All my family are from the Johnson County, Eastern Kentucky area. My mother and dad moved to Michigan, along with her parents, Con Thomas and Alma Lillian Thomas. Con Thomas, "papaw", worked in the coal mines in Van Lear, Ky with Lorreta Lynns father. Alma, "mamaw", was a housewife. During World War II was when they moved to Michigan to work in the bomber plant, Willow Run, Michigan. Later Con worked for Motor State. They made convertible top frames. Papaw was a quality control inspector. Con and Alma had two children:
