I was a Police officer for about 16 and a half years. I am proud of the fact and served my city well. After that length of time I knew it was time to move on. I salute members of the law enforcement world everywhere. The work changed me forever, I saw friends die, friends turn bitter, and friends fade away into the sunset of life. It was and is a tough way to make a living. We deal with the worst society has to offer and with low pay and little support from the places we serve. hey, hug a cop, we need it.

I was invited to join the U.S. Army in the fall of 1971 by our Uncle Sam. I started as a combat medic and ended up an Orthopedic Cast Tech. It was an experience I wont forget.
