CONNOR MICHAEL DONAHUE 2002

This is a page for Mike and Eileen's first son and our third grandson, born on my [Grandpa Joe] birthday, December 14, 2002. He was about three weeks early and only weighed 6 pounds and 10 ounces, but was 19 1/2 inches long and has been thriving ever since. He was born at the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Maryland. Fortunately, we grandparents had planned to arrive in Maryland on the 20th of December so we got to see him as a wee Irish baby. These are the first of what we hope are a number of pictures to enjoy. Some new ones were entered on 3/9/2003, especially see Connor's baptism. Some more were added on 3/15/2003, particularly with Grandma [towards the bottom of page] and others since that time.

This is a picture of Connor shortly after he was first brought home.

A favorite two early pictures of Connor demonstrate how photogenic he is and also his facial expressions already forming.

Connor is already showing signs of great hand to eye coordination. He demonstrates that in this sequence of him and a little stuffed monkey!

Connor was baptised on 2/23/2003 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. Below are a few pictures of the big event.

Here is Connor being baptised. The picture was quite dark and I've played with it a bit to try to get it so he was visible [Grandma Helen took it during the ceremony--She had to stay in her seat to do it]
