PROGRAM DESCRIPTION



Daytop, New Jersey treats adolescents between the ages of 13-18. Admission to all programs is based on the ASAM Patient Placement Criteria. The various programs include:

A)  Outpatient Programs in partnership with Morristown Memorial Hospital.


   1) Day treatment with full educational services (M-F) 9:00 - 5:00

 
   2) After school (M-F) 3:30 - 7:30


   3) Evening Hours (3 times per week)



B)Residential Programs:


   1) Partial Hospital Services With Supervised Living
represents the lowest level of care at the residential site. Admission is based on individual need as is length of stay.


   2) Short Term Residential Care is available to those adolescents requiring a more intensive level of service. Length of stay is variable depending upon individual need.


  3) Long Term Treatment is partially funded by the New Jersey Department of Health and/or Morris County. Admission is restricted to adolescents from New Jersey and/or Morris County. While supplemental funding may make up the difference, ability to pay is never a criteria for admission. The minimum length of treatment for Long Term Treatment is six months. The maximum is twelve months.
