Katie

People will know the size of your soul,

by the way you treat your pet!

Fetch-Stick!

I love all creatures "great and small" so it's natural that I have owned everything from parrots, dogs, cats, hamsters, rats, turtles, rabbits and various reptiles. I worked in a wonderful pet store for almost 6 years. Instead of selling puppies and kittens we encouraged adoption from shelters and rescue groups. We focused heavily on educating the new owners of the pets so that they and the pets would be healthy and happy. Currently I am owned by a 4 year old Alaskan Husky named Katie, a Black Lab puppy named Sophie (born 4/20/99) and a tabby cat named Brody.

I feed my dogs a species appropriate diet and am working on switching my kitty over too. The difference in the dogs is amazing! I have already saved a couple hundred dollars by not having to fly Katie to the vet to have her teeth scraped! They're doing better in so many ways: Teeth, weight, stool, breath, energy, muscle tone, skin, coat.... The list goes on and on! It's really easy, less expensive, and my furbabies have never been healthier or happier!

Sophie's ribbons from the fair @ 4 months

These are Sophie's first ribbons! You can't see her second place ribbon, it's hiding behind the division champion ribbon. The yellow ribbon was just our # for the parade. She was 4 months old and a real hit in the parade and the most lovable dog contest! :) She's now 7 months old! Where has the time gone? She was "the runt" of her litter and is still smaller than her siblings but she has much better muscle tone, teeth and general health. She's so shiny she just glows. Her littermates have grown so fast (very bad for bone and joint health) and they're still roly-poly puppies. Sophie is lean and fit, growing slowly and steadily. And her coat! It glows! I can't believe the difference this diet has made in her compared to her siblings!
