OUR FAMILY STORY

A little about our family and what we enjoy doing!

Family is very important to us. My husband and I entered the empty nest portion of our life a few years ago. Both of our kids have now sprouted wings and have left home. Our daughter is married and lives about 300 miles away and our son is now living a couble of blacks away. Although neither have flown to far from the nest, none the less, they have spread thier wings and have moved on. This has left my husband and I with more time for each other. So far it has been great!

We reside in Northern Minnesota and the rest of our family live mainly in California. This puts us at quite a distance from the rest of our family and has helped to make our immediate family very close knit. Although with e-mail I am now able to communicate with a nephew, a neice, a great nephew and my sister. Thanks to web tv I am also able to exchange email with my father and mother. This is nice because it helps me to feel closer to everyone again.

OUR INTERESTS

We have many interests that keep us busy and are involved in our community in many different ways. We belong to our local EMS Service, The Wolf Pack, (a local motorcycle club and the Clearwater County Trailblazers Snowmobile Club.

A few springs ago we purchased a motorcycle. We have been enjoying our outings on it and now we have a new way to enjoy Spring, Summer and Fall.

Our favorite season is still winter. Our favorite pastime is still snowmobiling. Although motorcycling runs a very close second.

LET IT SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have not always liked winter. Our first few years here in Northern Minnesota were not very pleasant when winter would come around. We thought of it as a time for hard work. Hauling wood, keeping the fire in the stove going, shoveleing the snow and driving on terrible roads. Then we bought our first snowmobile. What a difference this made. We couldn't wait for it to snow. Now 4 years later, WINTER is our favorite time of year. We still can't wait for it to snow.

We ride ARCTIC CAT SLEDS!!! But don't get me wrong, we don't judge a person by the sled they ride. One of our great joys is planning a snowmobile trip. I never knew winter could be so fun.
