JOHNSON
I will be exploring this family line hoping to find out more each day. If you should also be researching this line good luck but don't give up.
My father had many sisters and brothers but not much written history. My Aunt Elizabeth wrote us a very simple genealogy book which
helped some but allot of the information was incorrect. This made me more interested since I knew most of my mother's side traced back 6 generations.
I wanted my son's children to know their history no matter what I found out. This would be my mark on life.
I am attempting to place this in a data base but for now I will try to list the names as they are related to help you find a link to my Johnson family.
Clyde Johnson my father, born October 9,1914 died June 1,1989.
Byrdine Johnson, my grandfather, born June 4,1867. died in 1955 the year I was born he never saw me.
William Johnsonmy g-grandfather born in 1860 died in Rock Camp Lawrence County Ohio in 1899.This is all the information I have found at this time but I am making progress. I did not know my g-grandfather William had been married before Serilda. I also found out my father's name had been spelled Clide on his
birth certificate and he changed it when he was older as all his records had been spelled Clyde except for the birth certificate.
