The purpose of FCC is provide a network of support for families who've adopted in China and to provide information to prospective parents. ADOPTIVE FAMILIES TOGETHER
An independent, non-profit, tax-exempt Houston area organization designed to offer education and support to individuals in all stages of the adoption experience. AFT serves as a resource center for information on adoption issues, agencies, and legislation. More importantly, AFT is a place where families come together to celebrate the joys and share the challenges of adoption. For couples just beginning their adoption journey, AFT is a place to find encouragement from people who have traveled that road before. The group meets monthly to hear speakers on adoption issues and parenting topics. Picnics, Christmas parties, and other family activities are sheduled throughout the year. A monthly newsletter provides agency news, legislative updates, adoption information, and practical articles on parenting and adoption issues.
