My Diary.

Name: Teresa Age: 23 years Location: Manchester, England Married: 6th July 1996

I am a graduate in Software Engineering, and have been working with computers for several years. Since Matthew was born I worked firstly full time and then reduced hours of four days a week. I am currently on Maternity leave. I am mum to a lively toddler called Matthew, and little Amber, who was born in early December.

I believe in a natural approach to bringing up children. I have always tried to find out what my children want and need, even as newborns, and I respond accordingly. I do not believe that you can spoil a baby or a toddler by giving them too much attention: but at the same time I am always encouraging Matthew to be independant, taking a lead from him as to his current abilities. I do push him to try new skills but I'm always there to help when he asks.
