The Life of Alfred F. Wunluck
Born 8 March, 1894, Alfred left Wisconsin for Chicago when he was an infant. He had to quit school after the 6th grade, because he was the oldest boy and had to help support the family.  Still he found time to learn to play the concertina.  He married Bertha Bruss when he was 19. They had Leona 2 years later, in 1915, and Alfred, Jr. in 1922. He worked as a coffee salesman, delivering directly to the home. During WW2, he worked at Link Belt. He worked as a coffee salesman again after the war for a larger company, Gardner Brothers. Bertha died in 1972, and Alfred in 1973.
