Welcome to Extra Curricular Activities or ECA Page! In this page I will introduce the ECA that I take charge of in River Valley High School, National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC).

RV NPCC members meet on Saturdays ( 8:00 am to 11:00am). Sometimes activities are held on Tuesdays after school. They participate in activities that build them up to be confident, robust, caring and responsible citizens. Some of the activities are mentioned below :

• Trained in campcraft skills, foot and arms drills and to use a revolver.
• Acquired police knowledge like crime and drug abuse prevention.
• Participated in competitions organised by the NPCC HQ like tent pitching and shooting competitions.
• Visited police headquarters to understand how they function.

• Participated in adventurous overseas trips organised by the RV Unit

RV NPCC Achievements

RV NPCC had done well to obtain the following:

• 1997 Overall Unit Proficiency Award by HQ - Silver
• Individual Girl Champion and 1st Runner Up in 1997 0.22 Revolver Shooting Competition organised by NPCC HQ.
• Top Sixth Girls' Team in 1998 Campcraft Competition organised by NPCC HQ.
• Individual 1st Runner Up and Top Eighth position in 1998 0.22 Revolver Shooting Competition for Girls organised by NPCC HQ.

  CPL Cai Chufang - Top Eighth Position

• Top Sixth Girls' Team in 1998 0.22 Revolver Shooting Competition organised by NPCC HQ.
