Links to Other Crochet Sites

One of my favorite pastimes is to crochet. I taught
myself this wonderful art 17 years ago, when my oldest
daughter was a toddler. I love making things and giving
them away. I very seldom keep any of them. I mostly
make afghans and baby blankets, but I have made a few
layettes and several fridgies. The last few years
I have not crocheted hardly at all, but once I started
finding all these wonderful sites on the net, I've picked
up my hook and am at it again! I do not have any
patterns to share with you at this time, so here is a
list of other web sites that do.

Afghans For All Seasons
Buy it now from Amazon!

I haven't had this book for very long, but it's certainly going to be
a favorite. I made the afghan on the cover called
Picot Fences for my brother. [1st photo below] (I used different colors
than the pattern called for and it turned out beautifuly!)
I want to make the Pretty Pansies for one of my daughters. The
Summer Favorite watermelon themed afghan will be perfect to spread
out for picnics. I made the English Garden Afghan several years ago
for my best friend, using all mauves and pinks at her
request. [2nd Photo] I had gotten the pattern from a leaflet and
now it's in this wonderful collection. This book has a little of everything. There's
something for babies, toddlers and adults. There are mile-a-minutes,
granny squares, shell patterns and lacy patterns to choose from.
3rd photo is the Rustic Ripple afghan and only took two days to make!
Very quick afghan, I will be making more of these. The last photo is
the Plaid Winner on pg 80. This one took me less than a week and
was a very simple pattern to work.
