Descendants of August PAGEL

August John Pagel was born 23 March 1869 in Prussia (Kr Greifenberg?). He married Helena HACKBARTH about 1896 in Prussia. The family immigrated on 28 Apr 1901 through Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. August died on 22 Aug 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They had the following children:

Frank Friedrich was born 2 October 1895 in Prussia. He was naturalized on 21 February 1927 in Madison, Wisconsin. He married Sara O'CONNOR after Apr 1920. Sara was born in 1883 in Madison, Wisconsin. Frank died in Mar 1969 in Madison, Wisconsin. They did not have children.

Eric Karl Hermann was born 22 July 1897 in Kirchhagen, Prussia. He was naturalized on 22 January 1952 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He married Cecelia Marcella Pauline PAPROCKI on 19 September 1925 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Cecelia was born on 22 October 1907 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Paul PAPROCKI and Maryann JANUSZ. They had 4 children:

Eric Karl Hermann died on 25 July 1966 in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Cecelia died on 4 September 1982 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They are buried in Port Washington, Wisconsin.

Elsie Helene was born in 27 June 1900 in Prussia. She married Walter WODKE on 14 October 1922 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They had the one son, Delbert WODKE, born 1 April 1925 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Walter WODKE, died on 16 December 1951. Elsie married Clinton FARNHAM. She died on 15 March 1979 in West Allis, Wisconsin and was buried in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Gerhardt was born on 6 November 1902 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He married Grace PATON on 16 May 1925 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Grace was born on 16 October 1906 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Gerhardt died on 8 November 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was buried there. Grace died on 11 September 1971 in Eagle River, Wisconsin and was buried there. They had a daughter, Janice PAGEL.

Max August was born on 21 November 1904 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin . He married Ruth E MEINECKE on 5 September 1936 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ruth was born on 6 January 1909 in Fargo, North Dakota. Ruth died on 7 November 1957. Max died on 27 February 1958 and they were buried in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They had daughter, Elizabeth PAGEL.

Max's twin, Edwin, died 28 April 1905 in Milwaukee, Wisconisin. Edwin is buried in Union Cemetery in a half grave beside Walter PAGEL (24 September 1904 to 2 May 1905), the son of Albert PAGEL and Anna EBBEN. [I have been unable to prove the family connection between Albert Pagel and August Pagel.]
