  • Are your Strong ancestors "lost in Ireland"? If you saw the recent film, "Michael Collins", you may recall seeing Collins, in command of the Irish Free State "pro-treaty" forces, order his troops to fire on the "anti-treaty" forces barricaded in the Four Courts Building in Dublin. The resulting destruction in 1922 of perhaps four centuries of Vital Statistics Records makes Irish Research difficult. Dave Strong's Home Page has been established to help coordinate Strong Research in Ireland... Visit now, and after spending a while gaining some insight and reviewing existing data, help us rebuild our Strong Family History in Ireland!"
  • I have an Annie E. Strong, 1872-1937, married to my gggrandfather, Leonard Bannister, 1870-1939. They had 7 children in Australia, Horace, May, Percy, Rosalie, Alma, Bertha, & Theodore. Annie E's parents were William Strong and Martha Hind. (Unfortunately I have no dates on them) Does this help anyone or can anyone help me please? E-mail Steve Brew
