I am glad to see an active single adult ministry group in the local church! Being the Memphis Conference Single Adult Ministry Coordinator, or "McSAM," as well as a full-time Director of Christian Education and Programming, I have the great piviledge of seeing how other conferences and local churches are carrying out Christ's mission of providing "a church for all God's people!" I am espeically glad to see Michael Hickerson as your leader, a fellow "Wesley Fellow" and UT Alum!('91-'93) While living in noxville, I was aware of Bearden UMC's presence in the Holston Conference, and I'm very happy to see the strength and growth of Christ's love continuing! I am planning on being in Knoxville for "Youth '99!" and may get the chance to visit Bearden UMC. Hi, God Bless all of you If this is'nt fishing for men I do not know what is. I live in campbellcounty, Caryville to be exact. I am a student at RSCC and The Quality Assurance Manager for Metal Parts Company and MPC Tool & EDM Service. I am a new member to the Fincastle United Methodist Church in LaFollette TN and a past Member of Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church In Fairfield Glade, TN. We do not have a very large singles group here and not much in the way of activities. I would consider it no small favor if you could keep me informed as to the events of your singles group. You never know, I might just show up at your church (I have know Idea where in knoxville you are) and then you will see that God works even through 36 year old single men.
