GSD NUTZ AWARD

TO QUALIFY:
a) Non commercial sites: Meet the below numbered rules.
b) Commercial sites: The GSDs involved must be owned (in essence family members ~ see Rule #3). Kennel dogs or dogs used solely for breeding do not qualify.
1. You must have at least three (3) German Shepherd Dogs.
2. They need not have papers, but each dog submitted must clearly look like a GSD.
3. They must be part of your family. The pages must show, in picture and story, the love and interrelationship that exists. This must be clearly evident from your page(s).
4. Working GSDs and sport GSDs are especially welcome. But even being a trained and/or obedient pet and family member is considered having a simulated job and is equally eligible.
5. We must like your pages:-)
6. No page with X-rated material or links to X-rated material will be considered.

That's It!

WINNER'S CIRCLE

Bergsteiger Reg'd German Shepherd Dogs. Truly a kennel with their hearts in the right place. Meet Rocky, Tonga, Cindy and CeeJay. Visit them and leave feeling good!

Creekside GSDs. Now known as Creekvue Shepherds. Home of Starr, Ali, Shaina, Anna, Becky, Stoney and Heide. Yep! Seven of 'em! They're truly breeders with a heart. All seven are part of the family. Or is the family part of the pack? I get confused in our house too. Visit this beautiful site!

Othello Shepherds. Another breeder whose GSds are family first! Meet Scarlet, Destiny, Sadie, Avenger, Sassy, Kracker and Squirt. Don't miss their touching tributes to Othello and Rosie!

Huckle's Place. Meet Ponzer, Lady, Dirty Harry, Jester, Prowler, Ponzer Jr, Bruser and Daisy. Swelling Lynn's web pages and home, but mostly swelling the hearts of her and her family.

Bronco's K-9 Website. Benny's site for Bronco and Boss is a work of art. But that's not why they're winners. It's because of the love and feeling for Bronco, Boss and the tribute to Otto, who passed away. This is a GSD lovers site!

Professor Hunt's Dog Page. We waived the 3 GSD rule for Professor Hunt. She has Kohl and Kirsten, two wonderful GSDs. She also has one of the best and most informative sites covering all breeds. Yes GSD folks, there actually are other breeds. Professor Hunt's pages are so good we accepted her site and her GSD page as the 3rd GSD qualifier.

Let me say this about that. We instituted the 3 GSD rule to limit the winners to those we felt were truly serious about their GSDs and the care we look for. That's not to say single or two dog owners don't have it. We just felt we would have a better chance of keeping the winners list 'pure'. Well, it's our award and we can waive that rule anytime we want. We have turned down 3 or more GSD owners when the site didn't 'feel' right or the people came across as dog users rather than dog owners (and lovers). On the flip side we would be remiss not to recognize those special sites, simply because they have less than 3 GSDs.

Puppy Love Dog Training. Meet human Kathy, GSDs Kali and Rowdy and weird GSD Jigger. Plus GSD Sonny waiting at the Rainbow Bridge. A Training Site site with loads of good information and good fun. A lot of warmth, too!

Meet Wendy's Sapphire Hank Bocephus. We waived the 3 GSD rule for Wendy and Hank. Certainly the love is there. Obviously Hank is part of Wendy's family. But to waive the 3 GSD rule, there must be some special reason. Some little extra. Wendy has it. You have got to see these pictures. They are some of the clearest and sharpest pictures on the web and they're not excessive file size. I thought I had picture clarity down pat. Wendy's really got it!

Max's Page. This award is long overdue. Max was our first Cyber GSD friend. When we decided to waive the 3 GSD rule for really special sites, Max's should have been the first. The absolute quality and downright fun of this site will blow your mind. It's one of the best you'll ever see!

Flying Shepherds. Longtime cyber friends JoAnne and Tim have started an outstanding page dedicated to their GSDs. JoAnne also goes on to explain some very noteworthy points about living with these special animals. Their Anja was a true heroine and now awaits them at the rainbow bridge. She is honored with a memorial page on our site. Visit these fine people and meet Enzi too.

Gunnar's Place. Gunnar has passed away, but his page is still up as a memorial. Gunnar was a real live active duty K-9 Police Officer. His Dad was his partner and handler. He was also a very real part of the Stevens family as evidenced by his page. Some great pictures of Gunnar at work and some of his professional successes.

Winwood German Shepherds. Wanna' visit a beautifully laid out breeder's site that's filled with GSD love? Go here! Meet the future with Morgan and the past with Cody. Carol, Peter and Kristy show us their GSDs and in so doing, their hearts. Beautiful!

SAR - Kellie. Pete and Kellie, a real-life SAR team. But this site is so much more! Info about SAR itself and life-saving tips from a professional team in the SAR field. Plus the site is beautifully done and shows Kellie not only as Pete's partner, but a cherished family member too. I like this site. A lot!

Mandy's Homepage. Meet Maija's Mandy. All the way from Finland. A great collection of pictures, Mandy's pedigree and her competition results. All wound up in an attractive site. Enjoyable!
