Home Friends

Estelle and Michele: I cannot believe it has been close to 9 years since we met. Then we were thinking of singing, acting, dancing, playbill adds, Peggy and Don, and James...now we are concentrating on our careers.
Michele. The doctor (or soon to be). I don't know how you do it. Thanks for always being there for me. I miss you.
Estelle. It was wonderful to see you last fall. I hope you find your calling in public relations. I know that you'll be great at whatever you do. Here's hoping we get to that baseball game!!

Jasminda: When you left to take your senior year of high school at RCC I thought that would be the end of our friendship. In college, however, I found that you are like me in that you hate to miss out on a great friendship. I know our schedules are anything but compatible, but nevertheless we have kept up the friendship and gotten together whenever we could. Thanks for always staying in touch. I will miss you now that you are moving. Good luck in your new home!!

Josh: You are one of the only friends I have known for more than 2 decades. I think it's funny that after being neighbors all these years we move out and still end up living minutes from each other. I've enjoyed our Shabbos and holiday get-togethers. Best of luck in law school!

Max: So we don't call you our cousin; what's wrong with that? ;-) I admire the way you go after everything you believe in, and have made a real difference in people's lives. Ira is great; I'm so happy for you.

Marlene: My closest friend from work. Thanks for all your help, and I look forward to taking courses with you.

Here's a special hello to Russell, Maghana, Rob, Jayasimha, John, and Vijay.

On-Line Friends

I gave up on chatting with "online friends," but here is a little section dedicated to those I used to talk to.

Mark: You are a great guy and easy to talk to. I wish you the best. Thanks for listening; that is something you do very well. I am glad we keep in touch via e-mail; I miss talking to you. How was dinner? Do I know you? :-)

Jonathan: I know we have been unable to keep in touch, but I hope you get to read this. You are an interesting person to talk to. Feel free to e-mail me anytime. (-:
