Yes, that's us gathered on our cousin's (Walt and Betty Ligon) deck close by Bass Lake, a beautiful 535 acre, spring-fed lake near Pentwater, MI. (If you've never been to the Lake Michigan side of Michigan, go as soon as you can. It is positively magical.) On the occasion of our parents' 50th anniversary, all the family plus numerous friends (virtual family, in many ways) came together to celebrate and congratulate Bob and Ashley Gannett on their Golden Anniversary.

It's pretty remarkable, not to mention refreshing, good things such as this can endure. As do all the memories, not just from the gathering, but from the years we have as a family...growing up, marrying, having kids, etc.
