| Comments: My grandfather was Harvey Reno, born in Bardwell, Carlisle County, KY in 1906. His father was T.R.Reno born in Burkley,KY. His father was John Wesley Reno who was the son of Richard D. Reno, born in Alabama, so I'm told. I don't know much on this family. |

Not the same though - Our original Jules came from Paris through New Orleans and landed in Keokuk, Iowa in the 1850. I just inherited the family archives and will be visiting your site again and often. |

| Comments: I am Pat, daughter of Joseph V. Wood and his mother was Rose Marie Renaud from Sandwich, Ontario, her father was Joseph Renaud and her mother was Elizabeth Beneteau. They were all from the Winsor, Sandwich, River Canard area. I am new at this and we are h ping to learn more about the family. Any connections to Wood as well. My granfather John William Wood had one brother George. the family was from Ontario area as well. My great grandfather Joseph Renaud ran a marina at the foot of Chapel Street in Sandwic (Windsor). |
| Comments: My grandfather's name was Leo Drouillard and I'm not sure that he was born in Windsor. However, I know that he worked in Windsor and was employed by some ore shipping line that went to Sandusky, Ohio and back. So, I would be interested in any info on th Drouillard name you may have. | Comments: I was born in Warren, Michigan in 1960 (to Nancy Ann Reno [maiden name St. Aubin] and Rayford Dennis Reno) and lived in Michigan until 1978. I served in the US Navy for 6 years. I lived in Illinois for almost 5 years and have lived in Nebraska for the l st 9 years. |

My specific interest is finding out if somewhere along my roots if a Renaud married a Canadian Native Indian. We are a family of 8 kids and we all have a dark complexi n with black hair. My father's name is Roger Renaud, born October 25 1929, his father's name was Lionel Renaud, born February 02 1896. After getting Family Tree Maker I decided to go on-line to see what there was and within five minutes found the Renaud Family Home Page, where I found out that Raymond Reno was also r searching the surname Boismier in the same geographical area and time period. We are in the process of exchanging information, and I am very excited to delve into my past. |
