It is so nice to be able to tour some of our nations historic sights, even if not in person. My family has been Navy up until my generation and we married into other military organizations. I am very proud to be an American, and still get chills when I he
r our anthem played. Thanks for the visit.

Comments:
I just wanted to let you know I love your page on the organ I to have always loved the pipe organ. I am a member and in the choir at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Keyser, West Virginia. We to have a Moller Pipe Organ this organ carries alot of ou
church history. The organ was purchased and installed in 1935 this organ was never serviced by anyone other than M>P> Moller Techs. It was dismantled one item at a time and carefully stored in Hagerstown at the Moller plant in 1969 during the rebuilding
f the current church on the same grounds that it now calls home. In 1985 the organ was now 50 years old and in need of some work the question was replace or rebuild well with this church carry on the family traditions we decided rebuild and by no one othe
than M.P. Moller. the only items added to the organ before this time were the chimes. The organ was again removed and taken to Hagerstown were we also went to see were our organ now was. It took 5 months for her rebuild and we were like a home with one o
the children missing but our organ was back and in full operation the last Sunday in October 1985 for the celebration of the Reformation there were two more sounds added to her and one being the Trumpets and now we were alive again for the child was home
and not so small any more. Our organist who I claimed as one of the best and like a grandmother took care of this organ as her own she was the organist when it was purchased in 1935 and she was there when it returned to service after her rebuild. She play
d until 1994 when her health would let her play no longer. When she could no longer play her pride was gone and I will claim to this day that Mary Evelyn Coffman was the reason our organ survived these years. The purchase price of the organ in 1935 was $1
500.00 the cost of replacement today well at least two years ago for another near it's quality would be an estimated $290,000.00 Well as you can see I love my organ to and I can walk into a church were the organ is playing and tell you right away that is
not a pipe organ some will say how do you know and my reply is it just doesn't have the quality. well now that I have rambled on I guess I have said enough but thanks.

They were all interesting. I was just surfing this evening trying to see what is in web land. I started my web page a few weeks ago on "Graves Registration". It goes back to 1775 prior to the Revolutionary War and continues todate. I spent 26 1/2 years in
the military mostly in this field. When I retired I went into Civil Service for about 12 years. I have a lot of the dates, units and places when the Graves Registration came into being, what happened in the Civil War and prior to include WW1, WW2, Korea a
d Vietnam. I spent 3 tours in that region, once with the 101st, once with intermediate liaison and the last tour with the Joint Recovery operations. I have 10 pages of information and still updating or adding to. If you get a chance drop by my site. Sugge
tions and comments are always welcomed.
Thanks
Charles
