On September 30th 1998, Alex was born to Ruth and Richard Boulton. A special date in our family, as it's also the birthday of Sophie.

Now, for those of you who aren't in the know, Ruth is Paul's sister. We're talking now about Paul Schuster, not Paul Noble, and when Ruth (Paul's sister, not Paul's wife) married Richard, her name changed from Ruth Schuster to Ruth Boulton.
Paul (Schuster, not Noble) married Ruth Noble who is now, of course, Ruth Schuster.
Paul (Noble, not Schuster) has been duly advised not to get involved with any girls who go by the name of Ruth, the consequences could be really complicated.

Right, now that we've welcomed baby Alex into our family we have a sneak preview photograph of him at two months.
We also have a picture of his cousin Tommy that was taken when he was the same age.
Just look at the similarity; not surprising really because both their Mums go by the name of Ruth!
