#6 What is a shoulder-in? Explain **15 Points**
This is a valuable training exercise for horses that are already able to show some collection in trot. The horse is ready to begin the exercise when he is able to shortern his steps while maintaining rhythm, implusion, relaxation, and suppleness. The quality of the shoulder-in will depend on the quality of the shortened trot preceding it. Shoulder-in is a lateral movement in which the horse is bent uniformly from head to tail, away from the direction in which it is travelling. The shoulders and forelegs are brought off the straight line, the hind legs remaining on it, and proceeding straight down it. Thus the horses body forms an angle to the straight line and travels partially sideways. There should be three tracks.

#12 What is thrush? Explain **10 Points**
Jennifer-Thrush is a foul black infection of the frog. it can and may penetrate the sole and involve vital strucutes within the hoof. It may be caused by a type of bacteria or fungus.

#13 What is Ringbone? Explain **15 Points**
Jennifer-Ringbone is used to refer to a disease or erosion of the joint surface of one or more joints from the fetlock down. Sooner or later an arthritis occurs. That is followed by the development of small spurs of bone arond the edges of the joint surface

Jennifer-Horses will sometimes show a touch of colic on regular basis. These attacks may come several times a year. Some are not very serious but others can be very deadly. Colic sometimes is created by a twisted intestine, moldy hay , or eating sand with it's food.

A full turn of 360*, the movement begin the fact a small circle on two tracks, the hind legs remaining almost n the spot, but maintaining the sequence of footfalls. Pirouettes are seen in the collected walk and collected canter.

Shannon-A highly infectious disease. The Temp of the horse rises about a degree or two above normal or even up to 106 degrees. The first sign is usaully a dry cough that will later become moist. The cough will last between 1-3 weeks. In less serious cases the horse will look dejected and have little appitite.
To treat Equine Influenza the horse should rest, have warmth, and if appetite fails several small feedings a day. But be sure to get proffesional advice for antibiotics against bacteria.
