My research on my own Stevick lines has developed a life of its own! As a result, I have embarked upon a single-surname study on STEVICK in the U.S. My database, consisting of over 1,200 STEVICKs plus related individuals (for a total of over 3,400 individuals at present), is being compiled from a variety of sources--the SSDI, vital records, county histories, cemetery records, obituaries, census records, newspaper articles, information from other researchers and living Stevicks, etc.--and I am adding more information daily.
I have included the following possible spelling variants in my Stevick "dump file," as well: STEVIG, STEWIG, STEVICKS, STEVIC, and STIEWIG.
