These Monks Are Wired

I was reading this months issue of the Readers Digest and came across this very interesting Site. The article"These Monks are wired" was about the Monks in the monasteries transferring books to electronic data to preserve our culture. I will add their Site to my New Sites Bulletin. The graphic Art work on their Pages are very interesting, and some of the Topics and links are worth while visiting.

On the light side

Oh! Did you know that the average taxpayer works more than four months out of every year for the government. This is very disturbing considering we are not sure the people who work for the government are working four months out of every year for the government.

Talking about changing times this was overheard by a High School teacher when one of her sophomore math students came into her class and saw her failing grade. "Oh No!" she lamented. "Now I won't be able to get my tongue pierced."

I thought that this might give you a smile. A man related that when he was a boy, his family owned a basset hound. His father advised him,"By the time you have a family of your own, you should get a basset hound too. That way when you come home after a rough day at the office, your dog will always look as if he has more problems than you.
