One son William Anderson Dillion b. 1834 1st married 21 Aug. 1853 in Tazewell Co VA Martha Ann (Marge) Belcher 1860 McDowell Co. census shows children: Marg, George, and Emerillaancis Hayes, 2nd marriage to Ellen Crockett, son Samuel Peyton Dillon 1866-1942 who married Amanda Murphy 1867,

Harvey George DILLION b. ca 1818 Va, a farmer, he lived in Skygusty (Va before 1863) WV. Lost one leg by 1870. d. between 1880 and 1900, married ca 1842.Tazewell Co 1850 census lists his occupation as that of teacher. He was once called a District Supervisor, this might have been the way he met. Elizabeth Jane HUDDLESTON ( Betsy Hudnal?)
b. ca 1823 in Kanawha Valley VA (WV after 1863), d. after 1880 in McDowell Co. WV, by 1870 had asthma.She was the daughter of rich family in the Kanawha Valley, she married at age 15, Geroge Harvey Dillon. Her father gave permission for the marriage only if George would promise never to take her away. In return they would never want for anything. But, after a few years he persuaded her to leave with him in the night. They fled to the wilderness of McDowell Co. He took up land that was rich in coal--all the land from Coaldale to Pocahontas, VA on both sides of Elkhorn Creek. Later he let a man trick him out of it for almost nothing.
