Broadview Community Guide

Community Overview

Broadview is a village of about 8,700 10 miles west of downtown Chicago. The community has industrial development, including several manufacturing and distribution companies, and many houses are priced below $100,000. Secondary students go to Proviso East or West High Schools, District 209. (See below for details on schools).

Transportation needs are served by area highways (I-290/Eisenhower Expwy.), and major local roads (Mannheim Road, Cermak Road, 1st Avenue). Commuter service to downtown is provided by Metra. Travel time to the downtown Chicago station is about 45 minutes. Local bus service is available from PACE. The RTA Travel Info. Number is 1-800-972-7000.
