Kenilworth Community Guide

Community Overview

Kenilworth is a village of about 2,400 16 miles north of downtown Chicago. While exclusively residential, there are several nearby retail shopping areas in Wilmette. Recreational opportunities include the programs and facilities of the Kenilworth Park District. School children are served by elementary district 38 and New Trier High School District 203. (See below for details on schools).

Transportation needs are served by area highways (I-94/Edens Expwy., I-294/Tri-State Tollway), and major local roads (Lake Ave., Skokie Blvd./U.S. 41, Willow Rd.). Commuter service to downtown is provided by Metra. Travel time to the downtown Chicago station is about 25 minutes (Express). Local bus service is available from PACE. The RTA Travel Info.
