LaGrange Park Community Guide

Community Overview

LaGrange Park is a village of about 3500 14 miles west of downtown Chicago. While primarily residential it has a shopping district. Recreational opportunities include the Park District's programs. Grade-school-aged children attend district 95 and 102 schools. Secondary students go to Lyons Township High Schools, district 204 or to Riverside-Brookfield High School, district 208.(See below for details on schools).

Transportation needs are served by area highways (I-55/Stevenson Expwy., I-294/Tri-state Tollway), and major local roads (Mannheim Rd., Ogden Ave.). Commuter service to downtown is provided by the Burlington Northern Line (BN). Travel time to the downtown Chicago station is about 22 minutes. Local bus service is available from PACE.
