Her little Silent World

The first time I saw Bee Yin was 8 years ago. She was a thin and under nourished little girl from the School for Special Children.The first time I saw her was pitiful..full of burn marks on her tiny hands and legs. Her face was sad and those mornful eyes look at me begging me to hug and love her. She took my heart, since then I have been her Foster mother for 7 years now.
I try to give her as much loves and cares as I could give out. As a foster mother, I use to take her home during weekends . I show her that's loves everywhere if she care to reach out for them.
She has always been a very misbehaving girl. The TERROR of the school !!! Maybe that's the way she tried to get attentions from us.I learned alot from her too, I learned how to fight and protect myself as she always does. I learned to love someone who need my loves and cares..I learned to live with pride. Oh, I am so ashamed of myself having depending so much on my dear parents all my life !! How this little fighter depends on herself!!

She was born deaf, her mother left her when she was only a few months old and her father married a new wife and have a family of their own, Bee Yin was left in the care of her grand mother. She was beaten and burned with cigarettes butts as she was exceptionaly naughty. She was always chained to the table when the grandmother go to work in fear she run on to the road. She was always hungry and wore no clothes. Her grandmother was too old to take care of her, no one can understand her or pity her . Until one day her cries touched the heart of a kind neighbour who alerted the police and Bee Yin was send to a Children Shelter and later start her schooling in that School for Special Children...where she learn sign langauges and the way of a useful live.
And I also took up Sign Langauge as an extra langauge, and mind you .. I am not bad at all..

Now, here is the happy ending part. Now Bee Yin is a pretty young lady of 14. She is very well behave and lady-like. I am so proud of her. She loves me alot and always ask her teacher from the school to ring me whenever she was thinking of me, I missed her alot too. Whenever Barrie come to visit me, we will take her out for nice meals and go shopping and swimming.
If I have a wish,, I will wish for that one day she will talk and call me " Ma Ma " .
