A group of fearless LACYAG members decided to form a Volleyball team to play in the treacherous Lawrence City Parks and Rec  Summer League. 

As Captain: Witek Grzymala-Busse, he conceived the idea of forming a LACYAG Volleyball team, however lately his unhealthy obsession with men wearing kilts has degraded his overall mental and physical health.

Blair Burton, A Veteran of the Arctic Ocean sand volleyball circuit, Blair will be invaluable in providing on court leadership and off court kilt making instructions.

David Converse, do not let his smile fool you!  David is known for ruthless exploitation of ANY opposition weakness and his great on-field tackling.

Michelle Crank, this player is a tiger at heart.  She will not accept any trash from ANYONE. Her forte is blocking or trash reduction.

Steve Eggers, his quite demeanor only lures the other team into a false sense of security.  Mr. Eggers learned much about sand volleyball and kilt making from his roommate Blair Burton.

Marita Fick, a highly respected volleyball player from the Show-Me State. Her bumps and sets turn opponent's legs to Jell-O.

Rebecca Ford, the President of LACYAG, her primary mission is to prevent the high spirited team from getting into trouble.

Jan Grzymala-Busse,  the younger brother of the team captain. His methodical planning and execution will plant fear and panic in even the most seasoned Lawrence Parks and Rec sand volleyball player.

Jodi Keeler, A highly sought after player in the Lawrence Parks and Rec sand volleyball league, she snickers at any and all competition.

Monica Oliviera, Rumors has it that she barely missed making the Olympic team for a certain Central American nation.  Watch her score many point.

Melissa Radetic, after many negotiation sessions, Melissa released a press release, stating that she is signing a letter of intent with the LACYAG volleyball team.

John Rasmussen, One of the best volleyball players this side of Clinton Lake. John will systematically finish off opponents with his deadly granny serve.

Kim S. So, A newcomer to Lawrence from Iowa, he earned a reputation for "digging" really deep i.e. trench work.

Virginia Wang,  Dr. Wang has studied volleyball since childhood, she will plan and direct all tactical assaults by the LACYAG team.

Brad Wohletz, to people who know volleyball Brad's known as the Buzz saw. Brad is a specialist in cutting short the opponents offensive though his ability to stare down opponents.
