MEMORIES
Memories of our times together
Are fossilized in my mind.
Not to become extinct,
Like dinosaurs and dragons,
But to remain for countless ages.
Not eroded by passing time.
Not swept away with receding tides
And deposited in nameless seas;
Never to be recovered
From the endless depths.
In times of loneliness and despair
The memories I have of you
Will brighten even the darkest day.
You will always be with me.
