M-7 Junko's Rose Garden

The fabric is actually a nice blue shade but scanned black. I first appliqued the cream leaf shapes to the blue flower shape, then appliqued this whole unit to the background. Then appliqued the four blue leaves on.

I was dreading this block and am very pleased with the results. In fact, it inspired me to re-do I-5 Maria's Majesty using this method.
