"TO OUR FRIENDS"

Thank you for being there for me and my family during our most trying time.
Your friendship, love, prayers, and compassion have meant a lot to us.

My Definition of
FRIENDSHIP:

Friendship is a word many don't really know what it means. Just because you meet someone, does not make you their friend. A friendship needs nourishment so it will grow.

We should never take our friends for granted, we should treasure our friends with all our heart, for without our true friends, we would not get very far.

Friendship is a very sacred partnership, you must give, in order to receive, respect, in order to be respected, and trust, in order to be trusted.

Friendship is feeling their pain when they are hurting, knowing when they need someone to talk to and being there for them, just to listen, not to judge, but to advise, not to be envious, but to be happy for them.

Friendship is giving without expecting anything in return.

Friendship should never be one sided, for if it is, it's really not a friendship, it will eventually become the END of what could have been and should have been a wonderful experience in your life.

It's ironic how we all met during a silly computer game. There was a reason for us to have been playing this game when we were, my reason was to plunge into something that would keep my mind occupied. Because of the name I used when playing the game, ("SAD IN VA") I attracted attention, and plenty of it. It was not my intention to do so, I simply wrote what I was feeling.

I never thought there were so many caring and generous people out there that would take the time or even bother to talk to me. Nevertheless, we exchanged e-mail addresses and/or ICQ addresses and we have continued to communicate. I have made some awesome friends. I feel I can call you friends, because when I'm feeling at my worse, one of you is there to talk to me.

It amazes me though, how some of us have certain things in common, we have never met face to face, yet I feel a very strong bond between us. As one of my friends put it, maybe my son and GOD got tired of seeing me cry all the time and they knew I needed you for support, motivation, and encouragement, who knows? If that's the case, I think they've done a wonderful job of picking out my new friends, I couldn't have done better myself.

To all of you (and you know who you are) I continue to hope the day will come when we can meet in person so that I can give you a big BEAR HUG, like the ones my son used to give me.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such tremendous individuals and taking the time to talk to me when I've needed it the most.
